Celebrate Recovery @ First Methodist Church in Chandler
East Texas Crisis Center
The First Assembly of God in Chandler hosts a "Back to School Health Fair" at the high school every August for students district-wide who are in need of backpacks, supplies, shoes and certain medical exams. However, throughout the year the church will provide many of these items to all of the BISD campuses on a needed basis.
The food pantry is located at 510 N. Third Street - Old Youth/Scout Wing and is open on the first and second Tuesday from 9:00am-12:45pm. The thrift store is located at 501 N. Second Street - Old Office/Scout Hut every Tuesday and Thursday 10:00am - 1:00pm.

The First Baptist Church - Murchison has a Food Pantry on the second Saturday of each month. The pastor is available upon request for spiritual counseling.
