Students Start Career Path Early

Christian and Sam started their ACE internship with Brinson Ford this week! They are paid technicians in the service shop and are off to a great start. This program of partnering dealerships with high schools is something new Ford is doing in an effort to grow technicians and fill the growing need of technicians in the workforce.
While the internship will end after graduation, there are a couple of different things Sam and Christian can explore based off of their performance during the internship. They can either apply to work in the dealership’s shop as some level of technician, or Ford can send them to Brookhaven in Dallas to be a part of the ASSET program. The ASSET program puts them on a path to become a Master Technician for Ford. Which means that 7 years from now, Sam and Christian could be running their own Ford service shop and making $100,000 a year
