 ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR RETURNING STUDENTS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. My children attended Brownsboro ISD last year and was enrolled on the last day of school. They will be returning to Brownsboro for the next school year. What do I need to do?

 

If your children were enrolled on a Brownsboro campus on the last day of school last year (regardless of campus), they are considered returning students. Click on the “RETURNING STUDENT” on the Parents & Students page. This will take you to the Skyward Family Access login page. All returning students’ online registration actions may be accessed at any time by using your Skyward Family Access login information. After logging in, find “online Enrollment” on the homepage of your personal account.

  1. My children attended Brownsboro last year but withdrew before the year ended. They are returning to Brownsboro this school year. What do I need to do to register them?

 

Please contact your child’s campus for instructions to complete the enrollment process and any additional information required by the district.

  1. My children attended Brownsboro a couple of years go, but did not attend last year. They are returning to Brownsboro this school year. What do I need to do to register them?

 

Please contact your child’s campus for instructions to complete the enrollment process and any additional information required by the district.

  1. My child attended a middle school this past year and was enrolled on the last day of the year; but will be in high school this coming year. Is he/she considered a “returning” student?

 

Yes, your child is considered a returning student. Students who were actively enrolled on the last day of school in the uppermost grade level of their campus were automatically moved to the next campus at the end of the year. Click on the “RETURNING STUDENT” on the Parents & Students page.

  1. When will the online system be available for me to update my student/family information?

 

Beginning July 10, 2017, the online system will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for parents to enroll or re-enroll any student, new or returning. A notification of your completed updates will be sent to the registrar as soon as you complete the online update process.

  1. How much time do I need to complete the online forms?

 

It will take approximately 25 minutes per child.

  1. I do not have a computer and/or internet access at home. Can I still enroll my child?

 

Yes, you may use any computer with internet access at any location. For example, you may go to a friend or family member, the public library or a Brownsboro ISD campus that has an open computer lab set up for those who need assistance.

 

  1. When and where can I go for help with updating my information on-line?

 

Beginning August 1st, each campus will have computers set up for you to use during normal operating hours.

  1. Will my information be secure?

 

Yes. The information is uploaded through a secure, encrypted website. However, you must click the logout button at the end of your session. You must also remember to keep your user name and password secure.
