About

The Brownsboro ISD Education Foundation is created by volunteer donors who believe in you and support you in good thoughts as well as financial investment.
The Foundation Board is accepting teacher, teams of teachers, campus and inter-campus, and district-wide grant applications.

Here are a few things to remember:

  • Principals must sign each grant proposal from their campus; their signature insures that the grant is for a need on campus--not just a 'want'. We ask the principals to recognize that their signature indicates an endorsement without hesitation of the grant request.
  • The grant applications have a cover sheet that will be kept confidential.   The readers/graders will not know your campus or teachers involved; this will guarantee that the request will be evaluated on merit based on direct positive impact for students.
  • Cross discipline programs are a great idea and finding partners in the community and/or parent/family involvement are given determined consideration.
  • Please remember to keep your application concise, avoid using complex acronyms known only to educators.
  • If you received a grant last year, please send us a summary of the project, how it helped your students, and pictures that are media release approved so that we may show our donors your good work.
  • The deadline is Friday4 p.m., January 12, 2018.
  •  Please be sure to include a budget estimate and a signature from your principal.
  • The amounts of the grants depend on the number of teachers and students impacted.
